かっこいい
かっこいい / kakkoii / cool, handsome
There are two types of “かっこいい“.
The first is “handsome” which is to people.
The second one is “cool” which is to something or an action.
Let’s look at an example!
The new part-timer is really handsome!
新しく入ったバイトの子、めっちゃかっこいい！
あたらしく はいった ばいと の こ、めっちゃかっこいい！
Atarashiku haitta baito no ko, meccha kakkoii!

I think you hear this word “cute” a lot overseas these days, don’t you?

This is used to compliment someone’s appearance.

Style ga iikara, model ni nareruyo.
You have a great figure, are you doing something to keep it?
スタイルがいいけど、何かしてるの？

お洒落（おしゃれ）/ oshare / stylish
This is also a word that can be used by both men and women!
You’re so stylish, you should pick out an outfit for me sometime!

Oshare dane, atashi no fuku erande yo!
